Follow the links on the left to learn more about us.
We operate from a well-equipped workshop in the rural town of
Fairford,
Gloucestershire (England) and have all the facilities required for remote 'teleworking'. We use CAD software for schematic capture, simulation and PCB design and have the latest PIC development tools. We
also have an excellent knowledge of IT hardware/software and its many applications. Our experience and facilities allow us to undertake full product development taking an idea from prototypes to production. We can undertake circuit design, PCB design (single sided, double sided, conventional and surface mount), PIC hardware and software, prototype construction and small volume manufacture. We are particularly interested in 'one-offs', specials and rapid prototypes. We offer very competitive rates and a quality service and can perform all or any part of these activities. Understanding the interface between technical and commercial environments we can undertake product feasibility studies and technical audits on existing products. We also have done voluntary work for Gloucestershire REMAP - Technical aids for disabled people and have supported The Engineering Council 'Neighbourhood Engineers' scheme. RF Development & Module IntegrationWe provide contract design and development services, application engineering and technical support of Short Range Devices (SRD). We can integrate RF modules into products and are aware of all the international regulatory/approval requirements. Integrating radio (or modules) into a product is not without it's challenges. There are many hidden and interacting variables that require optimising for best results. We understand this technology and can help you along the pathway to success. We have experience of Radio and other Type Approvals and can prepare all the necessary documentation. With over ten years experience of the low power radio market we can direct clients to 'best value' suppliers and distributors both in the UK and abroad. We also have links with reliable high volume sub-contract manufacturers some of whom have RF test facilities. The Ubiquitous PIC Like many other engineers we love the Microchip PIC and have been using them since 1988. See PicStory for some history of these interesting devices. |
